SECURITY SOLAR LIGHT ATTRIBUTES
Betta 144 is a robust external flood light to illuminate external areas and perimeters. It can replace grid-powered lighting or be installed as a green fields solution and compares favorably with the life cycle cost of on-grid solutions. Typical applications are the illumination of security fencing, external areas, parking grounds and garages, walkways, areas not economically serviceable by grid electricity, building and billboards.


Security Solar Light – Light Distribution
Betta 144 uses 144 LEDs and has a light distribution angle of 140 degrees. Illumination is 25 lux at 6 meters on the centre line.
As a result, a demonstrated area coverage per light is 285 square meters, or a distance between perimeter lighting poles of 30 meters.


Security Solar Light – Power replenishment and consumption
The power system is optimally balanced and replenishes energy to the batteries through a 45 watt solar panel, while the LEDs consume less than 10 watt. The batteries are charged through sunlight and the charging function is effective, even in cloudy conditions, though at a lower rate.
An indication of the systems robustness is that the lights are fully functional for 54 hours when the charging function is disabled.


Security Solar Light – Battery Insulation
To protect the batteries against the effects of temperature fluctuations, the batteries are insulated with polyurethane foam boards and a additional battery box roof, thereby extending the battery life significantly.

The solar panels are orientated to the optimum direction through the adjustable bracket system. It is designed to capture optimum energy anywhere in the world through changing of the panel angles.

BETTA 500 Rugged and powerful solar area light, easy to configure for various environments and applications.


SOLAR AREA LIGHT ATTRIBUTES


Betta 500 is a robust external flood light used to illuminate areas typically off the electricity grid. Applications are the illumination of security fencing, external areas, parking grounds and garages, military environments, walkways, areas not economically serviceable by grid electricity, building and billboards.


Solar Area Light – Light Distribution
Betta 500 uses 500 LED diodes and has a light distribution angle of 140 degrees. Illumination is 50 lux at 5 meters on the centre line.
As a result, a demonstrated area coverage per light is 300 square meters with a distance of 30 meters.


Solar Area Light -Power replenishment and consumption
The power system is optimally balanced and replenishes energy to the batteries through a 120 watt solar panel, while the LEDs consume 27 watt.
An indication of the systems robustness is that the light will be fully functional for 36 hours when the charging function is disabled and replenish the battery power in 2,7 hours of sunlight.


Solar Area Light -Batteries
The system makes use of 4 x 22 AH 12 volt led crystal batteries. These batteries can handle heat up to 65 degrees C, can be depleted 100% and will take charge thereafter, recharge 2-5 time quicker than other led acid battery technologies with a life expectancy of 10 years.
